What is the WHOIS database?
The WHOIS database contains contact information for every domain name that is currently registered. This contains information about the domain such as who owns it, who looks after it and when it will expire.
The registry requires that you keep this information up-to-date and accurate, as should they need to contact you about your domain, they must be able to get in touch.
You can manage your WHOIS data from within your domain's Control Panel by selecting the Modify Registration Data option.
