What does the "Keep Name servers" option mean when I request my transfer?

When you request a transfer to Domainmonster.com each domain has the option of keeping its current name servers.

By keeping your current name servers your domain will remain configured to use the services (including your website, POP3 mail and DNS settings) provided by your current domain registrar, even once the domain has transfered to Domainmonster.com

If you choose not to keep your current name servers then upon the transfer completing, your domain will be assigned the Domainmonster.com name servers. This will mean that any services provided by current domain registrar will cease to work. You may then configure your DNS, home page and POP3 mail settings with us.

Please note: If you choose to keep your current name servers, you will need to check with your current domain registrar whether they will continue to offer their services to you after you have transferred the domain away. Some registrars will cancel services upon a transfer away being completed.
