How long do I have to renew my domain?
A domain name can be renewed up to six months prior to its expiry date. By default Domainmonster.com will send you a renewal notification 30 days before your domain is due to expire. Upon expiry, you will be unable to make changes to the domain name until a renewal is applied. There is a renewal grace period of 16-26 days which starts on the day of expiry. You may renew your domain name in this period without penalty. During this period any services related to the domain name are suspended, but no one else will be able to register your domain name. Once this 16 day period ends, if you have failed to renew your domain name, it will be entered into a redemption period and queue for deletion, after which it will eventually be deleted from the registry. Others will then be able to register the domain on a first-come, first-served basis.
