Why should I avoid using Catch-All email addresses?
Although Catch-All Email addresses can be handy for making sure you receive Emails sent to misspelt Email addresses you should really avoid using them.
With the amount of Spam flying around on the internet you will find that your Email will receive a large amount of Junk mail once Catch-All is enabled. This is because spammers will guess Email addresses to send to - if you don't have Catch-All enabled, the majority of this will not arrive in your inbox.
Catch-All is a Spammer's best friend - allowing them to be far more successful with their attempts to deliver Spam Emails.
Instead of Catch-All, we recommend that you take advantage of Domainmonster.com's free unlimited Email Forwarding. You can set up as many Email Forwards as you like on each domain in your account. This method also has the advantage of being able to delete the Forward when you no longer need it or if it becomes susceptible to Spam.
If you would like us to set up a large number of Email Forwards then please feel free to contact us at Support and we will be more than happy to set these up for you.
