Why was my Pre-Order Unsuccessful?

When the dotAsia registry opened up at 12pm GMT/UTC 26th March 2008, we will have submitted your pre-order immediately. All dotAsia registrars, such as ourselves, will have been doing the same in order to register new domains for their customers. As such, someone else may have secured the domain name you had on pre-order before we could do so, and the domain will have appeared to us as "Domain Taken"

There were also a couple of other instances where we were unable to secure your domain for you:

Reserved
The dotAsia registry decided upon a list of Domain Names which they deemed Reserved, but did not publish a list in full. Due to this, a domain may have appeared available but the application failed on submission to the dotAsia registry.

Landrush/Sunrise Allocated
Preceeding Go-Live, the dotAsia registry ran a Sunrise and then Landrush phase. These phases allowed people to register dotAsia domains prior to Go-Live. At the time of placing your order, the domain may have appeared to be available, but has since been allocated to someone else through these Sunrise or Landrush phases.
