What happens with my .co Sunrise Application

The .co Sunrise period allows holders of eligible registered trademarks to apply for a .co domain name before registration is available to the general public.

Applying for a .co domain name during the Sunrise process is critical if you wish protect your trademark and corporate identity.

Applications received during Sunrise are treated as received at the same time (i.e. it is not first-come, first-served). All applicants for a domain will be validated by the Validation Agents. If there is only one validated applicant for a domain, it will be allocated to that applicant soon after 26th April 2010. Once allocated the domain will be active and live in the applicant's members area at Domainmonster.com.

If there is more than one validated applicant for the same domain name, all validated applicants will be invited to bid for that domain in a closed auction. The highest bidder will get the domain name. Auctions will commence after the end of Sunrise, starting from 21st June 2010. You will receive email notifications from the auction provider, Pool.com, using the email contact listed for the domain name registrant.
