What is an A Record?
An A-record (address record) maps a hostname to an
IP Address.
For example you may want to add an A-record for the hostname "www" and IP address 217.28.124.132 so that www.yourdomain.com resolves to the IP address 217.28.124.132 where your website is hosted.
